This creation for Ballet Junior de Genève is Yuval Pick's first piece ever presented in Switzerland. By exploring the animality of a group whose movements he pushes to abstraction, the Israeli choreographer, based in France, has produced a very grounded dance made of strength and sensuality where the collision of bodies in motion evoke those of organic cells. Inspired by the anthropomorphic forms of the painter Yves Tanguy, Yuval Pick takes us on a journey that starts with a mass of bodies, leads up to the DNA chain, and back down to the smallest common denominator in us all.
