Using a universal theme (masculin versus feminin) through a flux of tensions and suspensions, Patrick Delcroix has laid down a truly technical challenge for the dancers, who are normally well adapted to sylistic exercises of a high level. This is the choreographer's third creation for the company after Tacuba Café in 2005 and Instant de Songe in 2007. Clash is an abstract piece that explores fluidity in movement through intricate and vivacious phrases that demand a high level of performance from its participants.
